South East Autism are an Autism Diagnostic Assessment Clinic with a difference.
We pride ourselves on our neuroaffirmative approach and the thoroughness of our assessment process and reports.
Included within our comprehensive assessment package are follow up postdiagnostic support sessions to assist in helping you process the outcome of the assessment and feeling clear on the next steps you may wish to take after this.
South East Autism is owned and operated by a neurodiverse group of clinicians who are professionally trained and have extensive experience of working with a wide variety of autistic clients from age two to late adulthood.

About us
South East Autism offers diagnostic assessment for people who may be autistic. Assessments can be conducted face to face or online. We accept referrals directly from individuals (or their parent/caregiver in the case of children) as well as relevant health, education and social care professionals (teachers, SENCO's, GP, Nurse, Social Worker).
We are happy to work with any client older than two years, the earliest point at which Autism can be reliably diagnosed.
We pride ourselves on being fully compliant with NICE guidelines regarding assessment of Autism, as well as our neuroaffirmative approach. This means that we view Autism as an alternative, valid way of being rather than an inherent negative attribute to be in some way "fixed". Within this model we recognise that people's brains work in a multitude of different ways, and that recognising neurodiversity allows society to recognise the strengths of the individual, as well as the potential challenges and support they may require.
We recognise that neurodivergent people may have different needs to those who are neurotypical and that diagnosis and assessment can be an important step in their journey and help support self advocacy.
